Five-Year-Old Shenandoah Fan Joins Band To Sing “Two Dozen Roses” After Going Viral On TikTok

Shenandoah released the song “Two Dozen Roses” in 1989 as the fourth single off of their album The Road Not Taken. The track was written by Mac McAnally and Robert Byrne.

“Two Dozen Roses” became Shenandoah’s third #1 hit after it claimed the top spot on the Hot Country Songs chart. It was also a #1 country hit in Canada.

The song has since been certified Gold by the RIAA. Today, it is known as one of Shenandoah’s signature tunes.

Five-year-old Cutler Lumbard was decades away from being born when Shenandoah released “Two Dozen Roses.” But he’s grown up listening to the song, and he’s a huge fan!

Back in May, a video of five-year-old Cutler went viral on TikTok. The video shows him singing “Two Dozen Roses” loud and proud on the side of a boat in front of the Flora-Bama Yacht Club.

The clip of Cutler singing took off like wildfire. As of this writing, it has over six million views and nearly one million likes.

Cutler Gets The Chance To Sing With Shenandoah

The video of Cutler singing “Two Dozen Roses” made its way to Shenandoah. The band knew they had to invite the little fella to sing the tune with them onstage sometime.

They finally got the chance to sing together during one of Shenandoah’s shows in Rainsville, AL in late June. Cutler absolutely crushed his performance, as he sang without any hesitation.
