After facing the unimaginable challenge of losing his voice due to a stroke in 2013, Travis has made a remarkable comeback.
Fast forward to May 3, 2024, Randy Travis released his first studio recording in over a decade, “Where That Came From.” This was a significant milestone in his journey, as he has spent the last 11 years working tirelessly to regain his ability to talk, read, and communicate. Fans were overjoyed to hear his voice again. It was truly a momentous occasion in the world of country music.

Now, Randy Travis has gotten the chance to be involved in another special musical project.
On August 16, Josh Turner released his 10th studio album, This Country Music Thing. Turner said of the project:
“It’s been a long time coming and I think y’all are gonna love it.”
With 11 fresh tracks, his new album promises to be a treat for country music lovers. Moreover, the project includes three songs co-written by Turner himself. And guess who makes a special appearance? None other than Randy Travis! Travis is featured in the brand-new music video for the album’s catchy track “Two Steppin’ On The Moon.”
Travis’ official social media pages wrote of the collaboration:

In the music video, Josh Turner appears as an astronaut. He is seen at the bar sipping a green drink with dry ice and enjoying a moon pie. Near the end of the video is when we see Randy Travis. He and several other country legends are shown sitting at a poker table, playing a round of cards. Travis is even caught with an ace up his sleeve.
