Reba Records Powerful New Song Written By AGT Semi-Finalist
Country music icon Reba McEntire has released her latest single, “One Night In Tulsa,” just three days after announcing it to fans. She shared a taste of what was to come in a social media post on Tuesday, April 14th.
Seated with her phone in her lap, Reba told fans she had something “very exciting” to share. As she hits play, the chorus to her brand new single could be heard.
“I’d ride a buckwild mustang bareback with no reins /
I’d take a barefoot walk across Arkansas.”
The “Fancy” singer’s last release was the 2025 “Trailblazer” collaboration with Miranda Lambert and Lainey Wilson. Beyond a couple of holiday songs, this is Reba’s first solo release in nearly two years. According to a press release, “One Night In Tulsa” is the first in a “series of new original songs and repackaged catalog tracks that pay tribute to Oklahoma.”

The song was released on all platforms on Friday, April 17th. Upon its release, she wrote:
“This song marks the beginning of some new music as well as a celebration of the last 50 years. I sure hope you love it as much as I do!”

Songwriter Kylie Frey Sings “One Night In Tulsa”
The power ballad was written by Nashville-based singer/songwriter Kylie Frey. Since reaching the semi-finals on Season 18 of America’s Got Talent (AGT), Kylie is making a name for herself as a performer. She has opened for Cody Johnson, Randall King, and more.
Additionally, she made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2023 and was named a CMT Next Women of Country in 2024. Kylie paid a visit to the Country Rebel Ranch in 2020, where she performed an acoustic, fireside session of “One Night In Tulsa,” before it was recorded by Reba.
