Get An Early Taste Of Reba’s Newest Single
It is a big week for Reba McEntire. Not only did her son, Shelby Blackstock, and his wife, Marissa, announce that they are expecting their first child, but the “Fancy” singer has confirmed her next release.
“It’s about time for some new music…” teased Reba in a new social media post. Sitting with her phone in her lap, she hits play on a clip of a new song titled “One Night In Tulsa.” The lyrics declare:
“I’d ride a buckwild mustang bareback with no reins /
I’d take a barefoot walk across Arkansas.”
Although she released “Trailblazer” with Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert in 2025, it has been nearly two years since Reba has released a solo non-holiday single. From the early preview, it sounds like a hit.
Just this morning (April 15th), Reba confirmed that “One Night In Tulsa” will be available on all platforms this Friday, April 17th! Fans can presave the song here.
Hear “One Night In Tulsa” Performed By The Songwriter
“One Night In Tulsa” was written by Nashville-based singer/songwriter Kylie Frey. You may remember her from season 18 of America’s Got Talent, where she made it to the semi-finals.
While writing songs, Kylie is making a name for herself as a performer, opening for the likes of Cody Johnson. She made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2023 and was named a CMT Next Women of Country in 2024.
The rising star paid a visit to the Country Rebel Ranch in 2020, where she performed an acoustic, fireside session of “One Night In Tulsa,” long before it was committed to Reba. Hear the full song in the video below!
