Faith Hill Has Only Been To A Few Events In Recent Years
Country singer and actress Faith Hill has maintained a low profile over the past few years, but she recently made a rare public appearance at CMA Fest in Nashville.
Faith’s last album was released in 2017. The record, titled The Rest of Our Life, was a collaborative project with her husband, Tim McGraw. Hill released her last solo album, a holiday record titled Joy to the World, in 2008.
After The Rest of Our Life, Hill remained relatively quiet until she secured a role in the Yellowstone prequel series 1883. She and Tim played James and Margaret Dutton, the original patriarch and matriarch of Yellowstone‘s Dutton family.
Faith somewhat disappeared again after 1883 finished releasing new episodes in 2022. She also deleted all of her social media profiles in 2024.
However, Faith has occasionally popped up at concerts and other events, and Tim often speaks about her in interviews.
When Tim was recognized during the ACM Honors in 2023, Faith and their two youngest daughters, Maggie and Audrey, showed up to celebrate him. Then, in November 2024, Tim and Faith attended the premiere of Beatles ’64 in New York City.
Most recently, Tim and Faith went to Carnegie Hall in April to watch their oldest daughter, Gracie, perform in The Great War & The Great Gatsby. The performance was filmed for a special that will air on PBS on Veterans Day.

Even then, Faith’s appearance at Carnegie Hall was more low-key. So when she showed up with her youngest daughter, Audrey, at CMA Fest on June 6, it marked her first major public appearance in months.
Faith wore a quilted black leather jacket, a graphic tee, and peach-colored pants. She styled her hair down in loose waves and complemented her outfit with a light cowboy hat.
Photos taken backstage at CMA Fest show Faith and Audrey mingling with fellow artists such as Shaboozey, Jelly Roll, and Kelsea Ballerini. They also appeared in pictures with country singer and actress Rita Wilson, one of Faith’s best friends.
Rita shared several pictures from her time at CMA Fest, which you can see below. It’s worth noting that some of the photographs are naturally a bit grainy.

Since she doesn’t have social media any longer, it’s not clear what Faith thought of her CMA Fest experience. Audrey commented on Rita’s post above, leaving a heart, flame, and raised hand emoji…so it seems like they had a fun time!
