Sara Evans Is Going To Be A Grandma
In April, Sara Evans’ daughter, Audrey (20), revealed she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend, John Headly. Audrey shared the joyful news in a TikTok video that showed her and John posing for a photoshoot while holding ultrasound photos.
Audrey captioned the video, “A BABY! How blessed are we. Welcoming our tiny angel this October … we’re so excited to meet you.. thank you Jesus!”

Sara Evans took to Instagram and reposted her daughter’s video alongside the caption, “I’m so in love. God is so amazing! We cannot WAIT to meet this sweet angel!”
Speaking with People about the surprise announcement, Evans gushed over stepping into her new role of grandma.
“Words cannot express how excited and happy I am for Audrey and John! I am already so in love with my grandchild and can’t wait to meet the little angel! God is so amazing!”
Audrey’s Gender Reveal Took Place Over The Weekend
Audrey and John hosted a gender reveal for their friends and family. Audrey, dressed in a pink dress, and John, wearing a blue button-down shirt, sat on a white blanket with a white-frosted cake in front of them. They turned wine glasses upside down and cut into the cake to reveal what color the inside is to determine whether Audrey is carrying a boy or a girl.
Audrey and John revealed the inside of the cake was blue, so they are having a boy! The couple was elated and screamed with excitement, as did all their guests.
Sara shared her excitement on social media as well, writing, “It’s a BOY! God is so amazing! Congratulations John and Audrey! We love him so much already!”
The “Suds In The Bucket” singer also shared a photo of her and her husband, Jay Barker, holding the cake before bringing it outside.
“Getting ready to carry the cake out! I was so nervous that I would drop it! Haha!” she wrote. “We are still in shock and beyond thrilled that we have a boy coming to be our first grand baby!”
She also revealed that she and Jay will be called “Sasa and Papa.” How sweet!
