Sara Evans’ Daughter Audrey Announces Pregnancy
Sara Evans is going to be a grandma!
The Grand Ole Opry member‘s daughter, Audrey, recently shared that she’s expecting her first child with her boyfriend, John Headley. Audrey told PEOPLE:
“We are beyond joyful and deeply grateful to God for this incredible blessing. I am honored to step into motherhood and embrace everything that comes with it. We feel so lucky to have such a tight-knit family who we know will surround us — John, the baby, and me — with endless love and support.”
20-year-old Audrey announced her pregnancy on TikTok. The video she shared shows her and John posing for pictures while holding their baby’s ultrasound photos. The video also contains a short clip of Audrey hearing her baby’s heartbeat.
“A BABY! How blessed are we,” Audrey captioned the clip. “Welcoming our tiny angel this October … we’re so excited to meet you.. thank you Jesus!“

Soon-To-Be Grandma Sara Evans Is “Already So In Love” With Her First Grandchild
Adding to the excitement, Audrey’s baby will be Sara’s first grandchild. The soon-to-be first-time grandma shared the joyful news about her daughter’s pregnancy with her followers on social media.
“I’m so in love. God is so amazing!” Sara wrote as she reshared Audrey’s announcement video. “We cannot WAIT to meet this sweet angel!“

Sara’s followers celebrated her happy news in the comments section of her post, writing:

Sara offered some additional comments to PEOPLE about becoming a grandmother. She told the publication:
“Words cannot express how excited and happy I am for Audrey and John! I am already so in love with my grandchild and can’t wait to meet the little angel! God is so amazing!”
Audrey’s older sister, Olivia, also shared her joy with PEOPLE. She made it clear how excited she is to become an aunt:
“I could not be more excited about the news,” she says. “I’m so happy to have the opportunity to love, spoil, and cherish this baby, my soon-to-be new bestie.”
Sara shares Audrey, Olivia, and son Avery with her ex-husband, Craig Schelske. They divorced in 2007, and she married Jay Barker in 2008.
