Alan Jackson recently downsized to a sleek and stunning new Nashville-area home.

Country music legend Alan Jackson has lived in some incredible properties over the course of his 35-year career. In 2010, Jackson, his wife Denise, and their three daughters sold their Franklin, Tennessee, home for $28 million. The mansion, called Sweetbriar, boasted 18,622 square feet of space that included an indoor basketball court, numerous balconies, a guest house, an expansive lawn and lake views.

Following the sale of Sweetbriar, the Jacksons moved into an even larger estate – a hillside mansion also located in Franklin. With more than 22,000 square feet, 5 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, the gated property looks straight out of the English countryside. Numerous outdoor sitting areas could be found throughout the estate that also boasted an outdoor kitchen, pool house and garages that could fit up to 15 cars.

In early 2024, Alan and Denise significantly downsized with the purchase of a 6,000-square-foot home in Nashville.

Realtor.com reports that the Jacksons purchased the brand new 5-bedroom, 5.5-bath home for a modest $3 million. Located in the West Meade area of Music City, Alan’s new home is sure to provide the privacy and quiet that his other homes offered. According to the neighborhood’s website, “West Meade is an oasis of trees, grass, and residences surrounded by the hustle and bustle of a big, growing city. West Meade was originally a farm and stables, and parts of the original rock walls that acted as land borders between neighbors still exist.”

The new home is situated on roughly one acre and has a bright and open layout. The kitchen boasts a large modern island and glass-front cabinetry. The home also offers a spacious office, formal dining room, and covered porch. But, the star is the stunning master suite that features 14-foot ceilings, plenty of tall windows, and a spa-style adjoining bathroom.
