Wynonna Judd certainly knows how to take a picture, and the one she shared for her 60th birthday is a perfect example.
On Wednesday, May 29, the country icon celebrated the big 60 with a fun night among friends, including Jelly Roll, Reba McEntire, Ashley McBryde, and others!
McBryde posted several pictures from Wynonna’s special celebration, including a lively group photo with the two of them, Jelly, Reba, and Terri Clark.
McBryde captioned her post, “A night out to celebrate the birthdays of our guiding light [Wynonna Judd] and our dear friend [Shane Tarleton]. It’s hard to get me to go out. But for friends like these I’d walk face first into a hurricane to tell them I love them.”
Wynonna commented on her post, saying, “I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Wynonna then took to her own social channels the next day, May 30, (her actual birthday), to recreate an adorable childhood photo.
The picture showed her as a child wearing bright red heels and holding a cigarette, next to a recent photo of her striking the same pose to recreate the memory. In her caption, she simply wrote, “SIXTY.”

Then, Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie, got in on the fun of sharing the sweet mementos from the night, posting a video of herself giving Wynonna a big hug.
“I adore these icons,” Bunnie captioned her post.

Another tribute post rolled in for the country legend, but this one took on a more personal touch. Ashley Judd, her younger sister, shared a heartfelt video message to wish her a happy birthday.
“Happy 60th Birthday to the Best Sister! May your day be joyous, may your heart be free, & I am grateful for the picture- perfect day God gave us for your day, our quiet time this afternoon, and I’m eager for your special evening tonight! I love you, Sister!”

Earlier this month, just before her National Anthem performance at the Kentucky Derby, Wynonna shared with PEOPLE that she is currently in the process of writing and recording a fresh, new album.
“I’m working on a really personal message to the fans. I’ve been doing this for over 40 years, and I’m at a point in my life where I’m just so aware of how quickly it’s all going by, and I don’t know how much more time I have left.”
Additionally, Wynonna recently appeared on the new Tom Petty tribute album, Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration Of Time Petty. For the project, she collaborated with Lainey Wilson to cover the 1980 Tom Petty & The Heartbreaker hit, “Refugee.”
