Shortly before Naomi Judd passed away, she and her daughter Wynonna announced their plans to embark on a “Final Tour” as The Judds. After Naomi’s passing, Wynonna vowed to continue the tour in her memory.

“It may look a little different now, but we WILL continue to honor The Judds’ legacy!” Wynonna said in a social media post on May 19, 2022. “It’s amazing to me, all of the artists who have come forward offering their time and their gifts. I am feeling so grateful.”

Artists such as Martina McBride, Brandi Carlile, Little Big Town, and Ashley McBryde signed up to support Wynonna on the tour.

The first leg of The Judds’ Final Tour ended in October 2022. Wynonna later added 15 more shows to the tour:

“In my 39 years of performing, this tour has truly been one of my favorite experiences ever,” she said in a post on social media. “You all have been such a gift during my time of grieving and honoring my mother in song. Getting to experience all the different generations of Judds fans each night (with your vintage tees, homemade signs, flashlights in the air, singing every word to every song), has been other-worldly. I look so forward to continuing this celebration of the music that has changed my life forever.”

The last show of the tour was on February 25 in Hollywood, Florida. After the tour ended, Wynonna took to social media to reflect on the experience.

She started her post with a nod to her late mother, saying, “It’s done, Mama.”

From there, Wynonna went on to thank everyone for supporting her on the tour. She said:

“THANK YOU. Thank you to the fans for lifting me up each night, to every single artist that showed up and offered their voice, to the best band I’ve ever toured with, and to the crew who worked around the clock to make all of this happen. I will never ever forget this tour!”
