Fans got their first taste of the track list with the release of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s cover of “Love Is Alive.”

“Love Is Alive” was released in 1984 as the third single from The Judds’ debut full-length album, Why Not Me. The song became the duo’s fourth No. 1 single, following “Mama He’s Crazy” and “Had a Dream (For the Heart)” from their previously released EP, and the title track from the full-length album, “Why Not Me.”

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have released numerous country duets together, but their Judd’s cover is the first to prominently features Gwen’s voice.

Gwen Stefani rose to fame as the lead singer of rock band No Doubt. But, her vocals on “Love Is Alive” sound as if she’s been singing country music her entire life. The song lends itself perfectly to the husband-wife harmonies of Blake and Gwen that fans have grown to love.

“To have all of these artists, most of which are my friends, come together and lend their voices and artistry to reimagine these songs, is so special,” Wynonna Judd said of the tribute album. “These songs are so timeless and I am so excited for them to live on for generations to come.”
