Dolly Parton Releases Her Version Of “Let It Be” From Upcoming Rock Album – The Track Features Surviving Beatles Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr

Dolly Parton may be a country music legend, but she’s ready to rock! She’s gearing up to release her first-ever rock album, Rockstar, on November 17. The album contains a mix of originals and covers of iconic rock songs.

Parton’s decision to record a rock album comes following her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. She originally tried to reject the nomination, feeling that it wouldn’t be appropriate for her to take a place in the hall. But she changed her mind, and was voted into the class.

Parton previously released her version of Queen’s “We Are The Champions/We Will Rock You,” along with an official music video. The video was made in celebration of the upcoming 2024 Olympics in Paris.
