Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood Once Again Teamed Up to Host the CMA Country Christmas Special.
The 15th annual CMA Country Christmas special aired on December 3. Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood hosted the evening, marking the pair’s second consecutive year as hosts for the show.
Yearwood is no stranger to CMA Country Christmas, having hosted the event in 2019, 2023, and again this year, while Grant made her hosting debut last year.
To kick off the holiday season, the televised concert special featured festive performances from a star-studded lineup, including Christian pop duo for KING & COUNTRY and Carin León (âO Come, O Come Emmanuelâ), Cody Johnson (âWhite Christmasâ), Ashley McBryde and Brittney Spencer (âMan with the Bagâ), Jon Pardi (â400 Horsepower Sleighâ), and CeCe Winans (âJoy to the Worldâ).

Yearwood and Grant were also part of the show’s lineup, sharing the stage twice for performances of “Sing Your Praise to the Lord” and “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.”
Both delivered solo performances during the night as well. Grant sang her original holiday song “Tennessee Christmas” and Yearwood performed a beautiful Christmas medley.

When it was time for Yearwood’s solo performance, she treated the audience to a medley of holiday tunes, including “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Winter Wonderland,” “The First Noel,” “Sleigh Ride,” and “Jingle Bells.”
The medley allowed Yearwood to showcase her incredible vocal power and range. Some of the songs were softer in tone, while others allowed her to belt sky-high notes.
Yearwood gave each song her own personal spin, making her renditions stand out. Her performance was further enhanced by the talented dancers who joined her onstage for the entire performance. They were so much fun to watch!
