Hear Megan Moroney Sing “Ain’t Nothing ‘Bout You” With Brooks & Dunn

“Tennessee Orange” singer Megan Moroney offered her voice to Brooks & Dunn’s remake of “Ain’t Nothing ’bout You.” The duo first released the romantic track in 2001 as the lead single from their album Steers & Stripes.

“Ain’t Nothing ’bout You” reached the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and reigned at the top of the chart for six consecutive weeks. The song also claimed the 25th spot on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The track ranked at the #1 spot on the year-end Hot Country Songs chart for 2001.

Brooks & Dunn recorded their first remake of “Ain’t Nothin’ bout You” with Brett Young for their 2019 Reboot album. But this time, they enlisted Moroney for another new version of the song.

In a behind-the-scenes video about their collaboration, Ronnie Dunn said:

Megan took ‘Ain’t Nothing ’bout You’ and did some stuff that, no way, would I have thought about.”

He added, “She dug something out that just came out of the blue, ’cause it was magic.

Laughing, Moroney said, “I can’t do ‘Ain’t Nothing ’bout You’ better than they’ve done it. So I was like, let’s just do it a different way.

Moroney definitely brings a new element to Brooks & Dunn’s remake of their iconic #1 hit. Their collaboration has a slower pace, giving it a different feeling than the original recording.
