Brooks & Dunn hit the ground running when they released their debut single, “Brand New Man,” in 1991. Nearly three decades and countless #1 singles later, Brooks & Dunn remade “Brand New Man” for their 2019 album, Reboot.

Reboot featured new versions of the duo’s signature songs. Each track was a collaboration with a more modern artist. When it came time to remake “Brand New Man,” Brooks & Dunn enlisted the help of Luke Combs.

The official music video for the trio’s version of “Brand New Man” has over 10 million views on YouTube. A video of their performance on CMT Crossroads has well over 3 million views.

Their version of “Brand New Man” reached the 30th spot on the Hot Country Songs chart. It was also nominated for a Grammy.

More recently, Combs covered “Brand New Man” when he kicked off his 2023 World Tour at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

While Brooks & Dunn couldn’t be there, Combs brought out some other famous friends to help him sing “Brand New Man.” He was joined by his tour openers Lainey Wilson, Riley Green, Flatland Cavalry, and Brent Cobb. Now that’s one impressive group!

Everyone in the crowd was singing along at the top of their lungs with Combs and his pals. If you weren’t one of the lucky people in the audience that night, be sure to check out the clip below. This fan-filmed video isn’t the best quality, but it still shows how outstanding Combs’ collaboration was.

We love that Combs has continued singing “Brand New Man,” and we love that he’s gotten his friends involved too!
