Pandora Surprises Toby Keith With Special Plaque After His Music Earns Three Billion Streams On Its Platform
Toby Keith is one of the most successful country artists of all time. He’s sold over 40 million albums and has 20 number one songs to his name. He received the prestigious National Medal of Arts in 2021.
Later in 2021, Keith was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He kept his diagnosis private until 2022, when he shared the news with his fans.
Keith took a step back from the spotlight after that, and only made a few public appearances. His “comeback” moment was at the 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards, when he was honored with the Country Icon Award.

He took to the stage to perform his reflective song, “Don’t Let the Old Man In,” which he recorded years ago for the Clint Eastwood film The Mule. Millions of people were moved by his performance that night.
Toby Keith Returns To Performing In Las Vegas
Now that Keith is feeling better, he was ready to get back onstage. He recently performed a set of three shows in Las Vegas, and all three concerts sold out.
While in Vegas, the music streaming service Pandora surprised Keith with a special gift. He was presented with a “Triple Billionaires Plaque.”
“@Pandora surprised Toby backstage at his show in Las Vegas with a Triple Billionaires Plaque to commemorate his catalog hitting 3 billion streams on the platform!” Keith’s team shared in a post on his social media page.
The post contains a photo of Keith proudly holding his Triple Billionaires Plaque. Text at the bottom of the plaque reads, “That’s a lot of zeroes.” We’d sure say so!
