Toby Keith Makes Surprise Appearance Days After Worrying Fans With Photo

One week after posting a photo that worried fans, Toby Keith showed up to the Oklahoma Softball celebration party and put all the worriers at ease.
On June 2, the singer posted a photo of himself to encourage his fans to donate to their local children’s hospital. Keith looked a bit skinner than we are used to seeing him, and due to his cancer fight, people in the comments section began to worry about his health.

The photo is the first current pic Toby has shared of himself in roughly six months.

In the post he shared that he had been diagnosed in the fall of 2021 and had been receiving chemotherapy, radiation and had undergone surgery. The following day he canceled all of his scheduled tour dates.

A lifelong Oklahoma University fan, Keith was on top of the world when the OU Sooner Softball team won the National Championship – for the third year in a row!
This marks the program’s seventh national title, which the program calls “7 Natty Patty.” Keith not only was cheering them on, he attended their celebration, seeing as the championship game was played in Oklahoma City!
He joined the players on stage for a rowdy version of his hit song “How Do You Like Me Now?!” We bet this is a moment they’ll remember for the rest of their lives! Toby himself tweeted a video of him and the team singing to his Twitter, writing, “Three in a row for Natty Patty. How do you like Sooner Nation now? -T”
