Wynonna Judd Has Conversation With Trisha Yearwood As CMA Fest “Artist Of The Day”
Wynonna Judd was the fourth and final “Artist of the Day” during 2023’s CMA Fest. Other Artists of the Day were Reba McEntire, Brothers Osborne, and Dierks Bentley.
Each Artist of the Day got a featured moment on the CMA Close Up Stage. Trisha Yearwood served as the host of the Close Up Stage appearances.
Her conversation with Judd was extra special. First off, they revealed that they recorded something together!
The duo said they couldn’t share a sample of their duet yet. But they did share it will likely be released sometime in the fall.

Judd and Yearwood also spoke about what it was like to record a song together. As Yearwood said, she is pretty confident in her own voice and its power. But singing with Judd made her want to kick things up a notch.
“It’s so cool to just sing with somebody that makes you elevate your game to another level,” she said.

Thankfully, Trisha and Wynonna did sing a little tune for the fans who gathered to watch them at the Close Up Stage. It was a goosebump-inducing moment to hear the two powerhouse singers perform together.
Yearwood shared a video of their duet on social media. She captioned it, “When @wynonnajudd wants to sing…YOU SING!! #CMAFest.”
