Title Of Lisa Marie Presley’s “Much-Anticipated” Memoir Revealed

Lisa Marie Presley Was Writing A Memoir Before She Died – Her Daughter Riley Keough Helped Finish Her Work
Lisa Marie Presley wanted to share her life story in a memoir. Sadly, she didn’t get to see the project through to the end, as she passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54.
Her eldest daughter, Riley Keough, stepped in to finish what she started. The Daisy Jones & The Six actress reflected on the “bittersweet” experience of completing her mother’s memoir:
“I was lucky to have had that opportunity and working on preparing her autobiography for publication has been a privilege, albeit a bittersweet one,” Riley said.

According to PEOPLE, Riley, who is now the sole heir of Graceland and Lisa Marie’s estate, spent countless hours listening to audio tapes her mother recorded about her life experiences. Lisa Marie shared her childhood memories at Graceland and stories about her marriages to Danny Keough (Riley’s father) and Michael Jackson.
Lisa Marie didn’t shy away from discussing the less-than-happy moments in her life. She opened up about the death of her father, Elvis, in 1977 and dove into her later struggles with addiction and grief.
“I’m so excited to share my mom now, at her most vulnerable and most honest, and in doing so, I do hope that readers come to love my mom as much as I did,” Riley said about the project.
New Details Revealed About Lisa Marie’s Upcoming Book
Lisa Marie’s memoir will be published by Random House. The company previously shared that the book will be released this fall, on October 15, to be exact.
On Tuesday (June 4), Random House unveiled the memoir’s title and cover art. The book is titled From Here to the Great Unknown.
“Random House has revealed the title of the much-anticipated Lisa Marie Presley memoir scheduled for release on October 15,” reads a post published on Graceland’s official social media pages. “Entitled From Here to the Great Unknown – the cover features a photo of a young Lisa Marie with her father, Elvis Presley.”
PEOPLE shared additional details about the book. Its description classifies it as a meaningful collaboration between Lisa Marie and Riley “as they try to heal each other” through their writing. The description also reveals that Lisa Marie first asked her daughter to help her with the project in 2022.
