Lisa Marie Presley’s Eldest Daughter Riley Keough Becomes Heir Of Her Estate & Graceland Following Legal Battle With Priscilla Presley

On Friday (August 4), Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Lynn Healey Scaduto named Riley Keough as the sole heir of her mother Lisa Marie Presley‘s estate, according to Deadline. Judge Scaduto also named Riley as the sole heir of Elvis‘ Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.

The ruling comes after a months-long legal battle between Riley and her grandmother, Priscilla Presley.

Following Lisa Marie’s death on January 12, Priscilla filed a petition to challenge the validity of her will. The petition disputed a 2016 amendment that removed Priscilla as a trustee of Lisa Marie’s estate. She was replaced by Lisa Marie’s two eldest children: Riley and Benjamin Keough.

Sadly, Benjamin died in 2020 at the age of 27. That made Riley the sole trustee.

Riley and Priscilla reached a settlement over Lisa Marie’s estate in May.

“They have reached a settlement. Families are happy,” said Ronson Shamoun, Priscilla’s lawyer. “Everyone is happy. Unified and together and excited for the future.”

“[Riley] would not have agreed to the settlement if she was not happy with it,” said Riley’s lawyer, Justin Gold.

What About Lisa Marie’s Young Twin Daughters, Harper & Finley Lockwood?

In that settlement, Riley was confirmed to be the owner of Graceland and the lone trustee of her mother’s estate. It was also determined she would preside over the sub-trusts established for her 14-year-old twin sisters, Harper and Finely Lockwood.

The new August 4 ruling from Judge Scaduto simply approved Riley’s appointment to these roles.

According to Deadline, Priscilla will serve as a special adviser to the trust. She will receive a monthly payment for her role. Priscilla was also granted permission to be buried at Graceland following her death.

Priscilla reunited with all three of her granddaughters after the settlement was reached. They celebrated Harper and Finley’s graduation from middle school.

“Happy Graduation girls! You’re now in high school!!!” Priscilla captioned a photo of her, Riley, Harper, and Finley, which you can see below.
