Shania Twain Makes Grand Entrance At The People’s Choice Country Awards

The 2nd Annual People’s Choice Country Awards were held on Thursday (September 26) at the Grand Ole Opry House.
Hosted by Shania Twain, the show honored Miranda Lambert with the Country Icon Award, which was given to Toby Keith at last year’s show. It became the final televised performance of his life.

Kane Brown was also honored with the Country Champion Award, which was previously awarded to Wynonna Judd.

Who is performing at the People’s Choice Country Awards?
On September 11, Kane Brown, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady A, Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, and The War and Treaty were all announced as performers.
Singer-rapper Machine Gun Kelly and Brad Paisley were added to the performance lineup on Tuesday (September 24).

Other stars will be in attendance to present awards including newcomer Shaboozy, Dasha, comedian Matt Rife, Ashley Cooke, Bailey Zimmerman, Chase Rice, Cody Rhodes, Orville Peck, Parker McCollum, Priscilla Block, Scotty McCreery, Tanner Adell, Dylan Dryer, Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, and Nate Bargatze.
Shania opened the show by coming down in a heart while the house band played her iconic song “Man! I Feel Like A Woman.”
Dancers dressed like cowboys were dancing behind her as she Walked down the steps on center stage and she danced to the music as well!
