Reba Shares The Key To Her Happy Relationship With Rex Linn – “I Have His Back, And He Has Mine”

Reba McEntire & Rex Linn Started Dating In 2020
Reba McEntire and her boyfriend, Rex Linn, have been in a relationship for nearly five years. The couple started dating in early 2020 and went public with their romance in October of that year.
Rex, an actor, first met Reba on the set of the 1991 Kenny Rogers movie The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw. The two remained friends and kept in touch through the years. A romance eventually blossomed between them after they went out to dinner with a group of mutual friends.
That’s when Reba and Rex’s romantic relationship started, and they’ve been basically inseparable ever since. They’ve attended events together, traveled together, and even starred in multiple projects together.

Reba has been married twice before. She was married to Charlie Battles from 1976-1978 and to Narvel Blackstock from 1989-2015. Rex has never been married.
Whenever someone asks Reba if she and Rex will ever tie the knot, she always says that it’s up to him to decide. During a recent interview for an Us Weekly cover story, she said:
“It makes no difference to me. I’m fine with the way we are. If Rex ever wants to get married, then we’ll talk about it, but I’m fine. I love our relationship 100 percent.”
Reba Shares Why She’s So Happy In Life Now
During that same interview, Reba opened up about why she and Rex are the best versions of themselves when they’re together.
“Rex brings out the little girl in me and I have fun,” she said. “I’m dorky, I’m goofy. He is too. We love to laugh, and we love each other.”
She also shared what she believes to be the key to their happy relationship. “I have his back, and he has mine. That’s very important. I feel very safe with Rex,” she said.

When the couple isn’t busy acting in their own projects together (like their new sitcom, Happy’s Place), they enjoy watching TV and movies at home.
“We both love watching television,” Reba said.”We’re always on the lookout for a new series or movie to watch. He says that it’s his homework, watching other actors and learning from them. I do it for pure enjoyment.”
If they aren’t watching TV, Reba and Rex enjoy being outside together, feeding the birds and watering their rose garden. “We just love to be together,” she said.
