Randy Travis Announces The More Life Tour
Twelve years after his debilitating stroke in 2013, Randy Travis is back on tour! The Country Music Hall of Fame member announced his More Life tour, which kicked off in January.
The stroke left Travis partially paralyzed and without the ability to walk or speak. Slowly, the 65-year-old has worked to regain those skills and, with the help of AI, released his first song in over a decade, titled “Where That Came From.”
For the tour, he has enlisted vocalist James Dupré and his original band to help perform his award-winning hits.
Along with the announcement, the “Forever and Ever, Amen” singer shared an inspirational video reminding his fans that “there is no gift greater than more life.” See the video below.

Randy Travis Biopic In The Works
To add to an already exciting chapter of his career, it was announced on Wednesday (March 5th) that an upcoming biopic will celebrate Randy Travis’s life and career. The film will be titled Forever and Ever, Amen after his 1987 number-one hit of the same name.
Multiple actors will portray Travis in the film at various stages of his life. Fellow country music artist Clay Walker will portray the legend in his later years. Reportedly, Walker initially had the video for the biopic and approached filmmaker Andrew Hyatt to make it happen. Walker shared:
“I look at Randy’s life, and I see redemption. This is a man who’s overcome all those challenges. He’s survived it all. Everybody knows that golden voice of his, but I think this movie is going to endear him to people in a whole new way.”
Travis, his wife, Mary Davis, and Walker will serve as executive producers on the project. While an exact premiere date has not yet been determined, Forever and Ever, Amen is planned to debut in Spring 2026.
