Thanks To AI And Good Friends, Randy Travis Is Touring Again

After a devastating stroke in July 2013 that left country music icon Randy Travis paralyzed and unable to speak, he has made a triumphant return to the stage and is now touring again.

The 65-year-old singer, a winner of 11 Academy of Country Music Awards, 10 American Music Awards, 2 People’s Choice Awards, 7 Music City News Awards, 8 Dove Awards from the Gospel Music Association, and 5 Country Music Association honors, is set to grace the stage once more.

Fans could not be more excited!

In the captions of a recent Instagram post by Travis, fans flocked to the comment section to share their excitement about his coming tour.

“Love, love, love. Such a wholesome group of people. Safe travels on tour and enjoy!”

“We all love you, Randy, & your wife is a gem!! God bless you both!!”

“My mom and I are SO excited to see you in Branson!!”

“Yes Randy!!! Love you!!”

“So so happy to hear Randy Travis. Best Ever.”

“That’s so awesome.”

“Thank you for your wisdom. May God continue to bless you.”

Although the singer has made incredible progress by learning how to walk, read, and spell again, he is still not quite ready to headline a full tour.

To support him on this journey, he enlisted singer James Dupré and his original band to perform his award-winning hits. While the singer has been working hard to regain these basic skills, he has also released new music.

Using AI, Travis released a new song even though he is still recovering from a stroke and cannot sing. This remarkable song revitalized the country music icon’s rich voice, allowing his family, friends, and fans to hear him perform an original piece again.

In light of his new tour, Travis posted an inspiring video on his social media, sharing a message with fans about life being a God-given gift. He expresses his passion for the Lord and the people he loves.

See his moving speech here:

Remember, don’t stay so busy that you never take that time to enjoy those people you love to enjoy doing the things you love. Never forget this is a God-given gift, and that you owe it all to the Lord. Keep that in mind always. Do the best you can; it says in the Bible, everything that you find to do, do it with your hands as if unto the Lord. So keep that in mind, enjoy your life, enjoy the people you love, and be happy.”
