Lisa Marie Presley Died On January 12, 2023, At The Age Of 54
Priscilla Presley shared a heartfelt tribute to her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, on the second anniversary of her death.
Lisa Marie Presley was born on February 1, 1968, as the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. She was just nine years old when her beloved father died on August 16, 1977.

Lisa Marie followed in her father’s musical footsteps and became a singer herself. She also became a mother and welcomed four children: Riley Keough, Benjamin Keough, Harper Lockwood, and Finley Lockwood.
Sadly, Lisa Marie’s only son, Ben, died by suicide in 2020. After Ben died, Lisa Marie published an essay about coping with grief, writing, “Nothing takes away the pain.”
Unfortunately, the family suffered another tragic loss when Lisa Marie herself passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2023. She was 54 years old.
Lisa Marie’s cause of death was determined to be a small bowel obstruction. NBC News cites the autopsy report, which stated the obstruction was:
“…in the form of a strangulated small bowel caused by adhesions that developed after bariatric surgery years ago.”
Lisa Marie was buried at Graceland beside her son, Ben.

Her daughter, Riley, remembered her by sharing a screenshot of an old Facetime call to her Instagram Story. The sweet picture shows Lisa Marie and Riley laughing as they spoke to one another on the call. Riley captioned the photo with a red heart emoji.

“I miss you more than words can say. I wish I could hold you, talk to you, see your smile just one more time. I wish you could see how much you are still loved, how deeply you are missed by all of us who carry you in our hearts.”
Priscilla ended the message by signing, “Mom.”
