“House Of Tomorrow,” Once Associated With Elvis Presley, Is On The Market

Elvis Presley is the name behind one of the most famous mansions in music history. His palatial home, Graceland, sits in Memphis, Tennessee, and has been transformed into one of the nation’s most-loved museums since his death.

However, Graceland is not the only stunning residence associated with the King of Rock and Roll. In 1967, Elvis Presley and his bride, Priscilla, spent their honeymoon at a futuristic home called the “House of Tomorrow.” Located in Palm Springs, California, the spaceship-like structure was designed by architect William Krisel.

Comprised of 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, the home boasts 4,695 square feet on a half-acre lot. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide ample natural light, and the living space features a 40-foot built-in sofa.

Marc Sanders of Compass Real Estate holds the listing, and the current asking price is $9,275,000.

The “House of Tomorrow” Helped Elvis And Priscilla Hide From Paparazzi

The home features a round design concept with different pods extending from a central hub. According to a report by Realtor.com, this unique layout helped the newlyweds avoid nosy journalists. They allegedly used the small pathway at the back of the property to escape to a limo waiting to take them to Frank Sinatra’s private jet.
