Country Music’s Finest Unite To Honor Bill & Gloria Gaither On New Tribute Album
Some of country music’s greatest artists recently united to honor Bill and Gloria Gaither on a new tribute album. Those artists include Ronnie Dunn, Hillary Scott, Josh Turner, Ronnie Milsap, and Lee Ann Womack, to name a few.
Paul Sizelove, the President of Gaither Music Group, said the following about the album:
“Each of these artists selected a song from Bill and Gloria’s renowned catalog and created new renditions of these classics. Tony worked with them to create a collection that truly represents the heart and style of each of these talented artists. We are so proud of the art they have created, and what an honor to the Gaither legacy to have these heartfelt recordings from these highly-respected performers.“

Alabama Teams Up With The Oak Ridge Boys To Cover “Jesus and John Wayne”
They covered a song called “Jesus and John Wayne,” which the Gaither Vocal Band has performed for years.
“Jesus and John Wayne” includes lyrics such as:
“Somewhere between Jesus and John Wayne. A cowboy and a saint, crossing the open range. I try to be more like you Lord, but most days I know I ain’t! I’m somewhere between Jesus and John Wayne.”
The song is the perfect fit for Alabama and the Oak Ridge Boys. Their harmonies blend together beautifully, as you can hear when you listen to their recording below.
This recording is audio-only, but we hope to see Alabama and the Oak Ridge Boys sing “Jesus and John Wayne” live one day.
