Zach really is a rising star to keep your eye on. His sound is more traditional than we are used to these days, and fans are loving that he is bringing back the classic sound. It seems the fans aren’t alone, seeing as he recently opened for Alan Jackson! Dierks Bentley also just tapped him to open for the “Drunk On A Plane” singer this summer.

While he is headlining his own tour, he has supporting acts Cole Goodwin, Jake Worthington, and Lauren Watkins on varying dates.

On February 14, Zach Top Performed In Durant, OK

The Cold Beer & Country Music Tour made a stop in Durant, Oklahoma at the Choctaw Casino. Although Cole Goodwin was initially billed to be the opener, it was actually Jake Worthington who appeared. Worthington also has a traditional country vibe, so fans could only hope he and Top would share the stage together at some point!

Fans who wished for Top and Worthington to share the stage got their wish granted! Worthington teased an on stage collaboration by posting a TikTok before the show of him and Top performing “Yesterday’s Wine” backstage.

They brought that same duet to the stage and fans were clearly loving every second. “Yesterday’s Wine” was first written and recorded by the legendary Willie Nelson for his album of the same name in 1971. 11 years later, it went number one on the charts as a duet between Merle Haggard and George Jones.

Fans online also expressed their delight with Top and Worthington’s duet.

“Been saying these two were the future [of country music] for a long time now,” one fan wrote, while another said, “Top 10 moments of All time.”
