Vince Gill Surprises T. Graham Brown With Invitation To Become The Newest Member Of The Grand Ole Opry

Congratulations to T. Graham Brown, because the Grand Ole Opry just asked him to become their newest member!

69-year-old Brown has been active in the country music industry for decades. Over the course of his career, he’s released hit singles such as “Hell and High Water,” “Don’t Go to Strangers,” “Darlene,” and “If You Could Only See Me Now.”

Brown was also one of the artists featured on George Jones’ CMA Award-winning song, “I Don’t Need Your Rockin’ Chair.”

Additionally, Brown is known for his popular advertising jingles. He famously served as the singing narrator for Taco Bell’s “Run to the Border” campaign for four years. Brown also offered his voice to advertisements for Burger King, Dr. Pepper, Almond Joy, Ford, and many other brands.

Through the years, Brown has performed at the Grand Ole Opry hundreds of times. So, it only seemed fitting for the Opry to ask him to become the newest member of their family.

Brown received his Opry invitation from a dear friend, Vince Gill. Gill and Brown have worked together numerous times, most recently on their gospel duet “He’ll Take Care of You.”

Gill joined Brown as a guest on his Live Wire show on SiriusXM on Tuesday (February 20). That’s when he surprised Brown with true reason why he was there…to asl him to join the Opry.
