Toby Keith is back! The “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” singer announced his first headlining concert dates in more than two years.
Roughly two years after being diagnosed with stomach cancer, Toby Keith is returning to the stage for a limited two-night concert series in Las Vegas. Fans can catch Toby’s comeback concerts on December 10 & 11, 2023 at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 27.
Toby shared the announcement on social media in a video clip saying that he’s ready to “get it all goin’ again, Big Dog Daddy-style.”
“It’s been awhile. You know what I’ve been doing. I’ve been on the ol’ roller coaster, but Almighty’s riding shotgun. He’s let me drive for some reason,” Toby said. “I was gonna sit around here and do nothin’ like I have been, or get up and go outside and don’t let the old man in. You know what I mean?”
He added that the shows are “rehab” shows after being off for over two years due to his cancer battle and Covid restrictions.
“The old devil’s been after me a little bit. I’ve got him by the horns right now. So instead of just sittin’ around and waitin’, we’re gonna get the band back together….We’re gonna have a blast, get it all goin’ again, Big Dog Daddy-style.”
Over the last few months, Toby Keith has slowly made his way back to the spotlight with hometown shows and unexpected appearances across the country.
Most recently, the 62-year-old appeared at the People’s Choice Country Awards where he was honored with the first-ever Country Icon Award. He also took the stage to perform his 2019 release, “Don’t Let The Old Man In,” a song inspired by a conversation he had with Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood.
One week prior, Toby announced the release of a greatest hits project titled 100% Songwriter. The album, available for purchase and download on November 3, features 13 previously recorded songs solely written by the star.

Toby’s impressive songwriting catalog is just one of the many reasons he’s enjoyed massive success and his career has had such longevity. Keith’s accomplishment as one of the only songwriters to ever secure at least one chart-topping song every year for two consecutive decades earned him a spot in the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Fans attending his upcoming Las Vegas concerts can expect a night full of Toby Keith hits. Watch Toby perform “Don’t Let The Old Man In” in the video below.
