Toby Keith Announces Additional Show In Las Vegas After First Two Sold Out Within Minutes
Toby Keith took some time off from performing after he was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2021. He went public with his diagnosis in June 2022.
Keith performed a few times on a smaller scale over the past two years. Most recently, he performed his song “Don’t Let the Old Man In” on the first-ever People’s Choice Country Awards.
It was undoubtably the most emotional performance of the night. Keith’s wife, Tricia Covel, could be seen wiping tears from her eyes the entire time.

Keith was also honored during the ceremony with the first Country Icon award.
Toby Announces His Comeback Following Cancer Battle
Then, on October 20, Keith announced his highly anticpated comeback. He posted a video on social media to announce his return to the stage for a two-night concert series in Las Vegas.
“It’s been awhile,” Keith said. “You know what I’ve been doing. I’ve been on the ol’ roller coaster, but Almighty’s riding shotgun. He’s let me drive for some reason.“
Keith added, “I was gonna sit around here and do nothin’ like I have been, or get up and go outside and don’t let the old man in. You know what I mean?”
He called these shows “rehab” for him and his band to get back in the swing of things after taking time off.

The shows will be held on December 10 and 11 at the Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas. Tickets went on sale on October 27. However, those tickets have already sold out!
Las Vegas TV station KSNV spoke with Live Nation, who said both of Keith’s shows “sold out within minutes.” Keith thanked his fans for the support in a simple post on social media.
Toby Keith Shares New Video To Announce Addition Of Another Vegas Show
Keith said the response to his comeback concerts had him “all fired up.” He wanted to give his fans another chance to watch him perform, so he added a third concert to the series.
“We’re gonna do one last show on in Vegas,” Keith shared in a video announcement he shared on Monday (October 30). “This will be the only show we add on this Las Vegas run. I’m fired up for these three shows and clearly you are, too.“
The third and final show in Keith’s Vegas series is scheduled for Thursday, December 14 at the Dolby Live at Park MGM. Tickets go on sale Friday (November 3) at 10 AM PT on Keith’s official website TobyKeith.com.
