Tim McGraw Wishes Faith Hill A Happy 27th Anniversary, Shares Their 1st Photo Together

Tim McGraw & Faith Hill Celebrate 27 Years Of Marriage

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill married on October 6, 1996. They’ve since welcomed three daughters, recorded a number of hit duets, and starred together in the Yellowstone prequel 1883.

The couple fell in love while touring together on the Spontaneous Combustion Tour in early 1996. Tim says he proposed to Faith several times, but she kept turning him down.

She finally said “yes” when they were at a large outdoor music festival:

“I came off the stage and went back into my dressing room and Faith wasn’t there, but I looked at the mirror. In lipstick it said, ‘Yes! I’m gonna be your wife,’ And we still have that mirror. And it was the best day of my life, that’s for sure,” Tim said in a video he shared on social media a few years ago.

But Tim and Faith actually met two years before the Spontaneous Combustion Tour. Their first meeting was backstage during the “New Faces” show at the Country Radio Seminar in the Spring of 1994.

Tim and Faith took a photo together that day, and they still have it. Tim shared that picture when he wished Faith a happy anniversary this year.

“I fell for you in an instant!” Tim said in his sweet message to Faith. “Today is our 27th wedding anniversary and I fall for you everyday, every time you walk into the room, every time I see you in our 3 beautiful daughter’s smiles. I just keep falling and always will. Happy anniversary my love! @faithhill”
