Tim McGraw Shares Secret To His 26-Year Marriage To Faith Hill

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are one of the few couples in the entertainment industry who have managed to keep their marriage together.
In a new interview, Tim McGraw revealed the secret to his 26-year marriage to Faith Hill.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill first met in 1994. At the time, both were in other relationships. But, when Faith joined Tim on his Spontaneous Combustion Tour two years later, both were available and it didn’t take long for them to realize they had feelings for each other.

A few months after the launch of the tour the pair said “I do” in an intimate ceremony in at Tim’s aunt’s house in his Louisiana hometown. Some would say that the odds were against the couple. Both were rising country stars with their own successful careers, and many celebrity couples before them couldn’t make marriage work. But, Tim and Faith were determined.
In a new interview with ET Canada, Tim McGraw was asked what the secret to his marriage is.
“I don’t know if there’s a key,” McGraw, 56, said. “We always say we’re 27 years coming up, we always say it’s like 96 in show business. It’s almost like dog years.”
The “Don’t Take The Girl” singer added that he and Faith made a promise to each other before they married.
“We just made a commitment early on, when we first decided we were going to get married and have kids, that we wouldn’t just walk out the door when problems arose,” he said.
