Noteworthy names from every genre of the music industry dressed to the nines and walked the red carpet before the ceremony.Â
Lana Del Rey paid homage to Loretta Lynn with her Grammy Awards look Â
Singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey debuted a new look on the Grammyâs red carpet, wearing a vintage black dress complete with voluminous sleeves and floral lace appliques. She completed the look with black lace gloves, a black vintage bag, and a dramatic bow that trailed down her back.Â
The ensemble, styled by Molly Dickson, was reminiscent of the classicly feminine and Western style of country music icon Loretta Lynn.Â

After she released a cover of the John Denver classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads” in December, fans wondered if there might be an impending genre switch for the singer. On Wednesday night (Jan 31), Lana Del Rey was on stage to celebrate her producer Jack Antonoff at Billboardâs pre-Grammy event in Los Angeles when she confirmed:Â
âIf you canât already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country⦠Weâre going country. Itâs happening. Thatâs why Jack has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.â
Lana Del Reyâs first ever country album, titled Lasso, will be reportedly be released in September 2024.Â
