Sara Evans’s Daughter, Audrey, Welcomes First Child With Boyfriend John Headley
Sara Evans‘ grandson has arrived!
In April, Sara’s daughter, Audrey, announced she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend, John Headley. Sara was thrilled to hear the news, saying she was “already so in love” with her first grandchild.
Audrey told PEOPLE:
“We are beyond joyful and deeply grateful to God for this incredible blessing. I am honored to step into motherhood and embrace everything that comes with it. We feel so lucky to have such a tight-knit family who we know will surround us — John, the baby, and me — with endless love and support.“
Audrey and John shared a gender reveal video in June. The video shows them cutting into a cake with wine glasses. When they removed their glasses, the cake inside was dyed light blue. That’s how they learned they were having a boy!
Now, their baby boy is here! Audrey gave birth on Monday (September 29), and shared the news of her son’s arrival later that day.
She wrote, “Welcome to the world our perfect angel” and “Thank you Jesus.” She also revealed her son’s name: John Evans Headley.

Sara Evans Shares Sweet Photos And Gushes About Her Grandson
The news of baby John’s birth comes during a celebratory time for Sara’s family. Her oldest daughter, Olivia, married her longtime love, James Blake Erwin, on September 20.
“She was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen and it was a perfect day!” Sara said in a post about Olivia’s wedding day. She also shared an affectionate picture that shows her helping Olivia with her dress before the ceremony.
Audrey gave birth just nine days after her sister Olivia’s wedding. Needless to say, Sara was absolutely over the moon when she got to meet her grandson.
Sara uploaded two photos of herself and her husband, Jay Barker, with baby John. You can see the joy on their faces!
The proud grandma said:
“Meet our grandson! We are so blessed! @audreyeevans_ @johnheadley.19 we are so thrilled for you and proud of you! I can’t even put this into words! Granny and Grandaddy! We are obsessed! 🩵🩵🩵he is the most beautiful baby! Praise God!!!!!!!“
