How Riley Keough Has Honored Her Mother

Lisa Marie Presley died on January 12 at the age of 54. She left behind countless people who loved her, including her three daughters, Riley, Harper, and Finley. Lisa Marie was preceded in death by her son, Benjamin, who died in 2020.

She was laid to rest next to Benjamin in the Meditation Garden at her father Elvis Presley‘s Graceland estate in Memphis, Tennessee.

Riley remained silent on social media for several days after Lisa Marie’s death. She broke her silence by sharing a photo of her as a child, which shows Lisa Marie smiling at her lovingly.

Riley has since been busy promoting the series Daisy Jones & The Six, in which she plays the title character Daisy Jones. She has followed in her mother (and grandfather’s) musical footsteps by singing in the series.

More recently, Riley paused to honor her mom on her first Mother’s Day since she passed away. She shared a photo of her parents (Lisa Marie and Danny Keough) taken shortly after she was born. Lisa Marie is holding Riley while smiling at the camera.

Lucky to have had the best and most deeply loving mama I could have asked for,” Riley captioned the picture along with the double pink heart emoji.
