One video of Johnson performing the tune has over two million views.

For months, we only had fan-filmed videos of McEntire and Johnson singing “Whoever’s In New England” at CMA Fest. But finally, a television special that aired on July 19, 2023, showcased their full duet in all of its glory.

Cody delivered most of the performance, accompanied only by his acoustic guitar. The crowd was eerily silent and completely captivated as he sang. Cameras caught the surprise on faces in the crowd when Reba walked onto the stage to sing the second verse. The song’s conclusion was the only time during the song that CoJo and Reba sang together, and it left fans wanting more from the two stars.
