Tim McGraw took to social media on Friday, March 20, 2020, of him performing an acoustic version of one of his “favorites.”

He was in a candlelit room on a white chair, with a guitar in his hand, ready to play.

Tim captioned the video:

Who’s got cool songs they’ve always loved to play when they’re sitting around the house or when u were in high school or college? Here’s one of my favs: John Schneider’s Take the Long Way Home.

Tim also addressed his country artist friends by inviting them to his newly created challenge, calling it the #deepcutschallenge. His first three challengers are Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, and Brad Paisley! The Deep Cuts Challenge went on for a while, with more and more artists challenging each other, thanks to Tim!

He performed the 1986 hit “Take The Long Way Home” by John Schneider. John Schneider was best known for playing Bo Duke in the original TV series of The Dukes Of Hazzard, but also had a career in country music, releasing nine studio albums and one greatest hit album.
