Lorrie Morgan Gives First Public Performances Following Death Of Husband Randy White

Randy White, Husband Of Lorrie Morgan, Passed Away At Age 72
On Sunday, June 1, Lorrie Morgan’s husband, Randy White, passed away after a battle with mouth cancer. He had been diagnosed with the disease in early 2024. One year later, in April 2025, Randy’s health worsened, and he was hospitalized, causing Lorrie to cancel some of her appearances.
Lorrie confirmed the news of his death in a statement, which read:
“Randy has been my partner and my rock for 17 years. Our big, wonderful family and I are devastated at the loss of this truly kind and incredible man. I was blessed by his love. Ran-Ran, I will love and miss you forever.”
Lorrie Morgan and Randy White had been married since 2010. They wed in an intimate ceremony on the beach with their family in attendance. Their blended family is comprised of Randy’s four children, Lorrie’s two, and a handful of grandchildren.
Jesse Keith Whitley Remembers Stepfather Randy As A “Great Man”
Lorrie’s only son, Jesse, lost his father, Keith Whitley, when he was less than two years old. Randy White became a part of their family’s life when Jesse was in his 20s, and according to a heartfelt tribute shared online, he had a big impact. Jesse wrote of Randy:
“He showed me love and showed me a relationship with Jesus even though I grew up Catholic, I kinda distanced myself a little from it. He has been the best grandfather for my kids they could ever ask for.”
Jesse shared a series of photos from happy memories over the years. He ended his message:
“We will miss you always and forever and our hearts are shattered in losing you. But you have fought one helluva fight RanMan!”

Lorrie Morgan Returns To The Stage Following The Death Of Her Husband
As she mourns the death of her beloved husband, Lorrie Morgan is still prioritizing music in her life. The “What Part of No” singer gave three performances on June 6th and 7th.
First, she played at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg, Ky., on Friday night. Jesse Keith Whitley supported her as the opening act. The following day, Lorrie returned to Nashville for two performances. She took the Chevy Vibes stage during CMA Fest, where she performed alongside a beautiful flower arrangement brought to comfort her.
