Priscilla Presley Writes Heartfelt Post On Elvis’ 88th Birthday

January 8 would have been Elvis Presley‘s 88th birthday. His Graceland estate held a huge celebration to mark the occasion. His daughter, Lisa Marie, was in attendance.

Graceland also opened a special new exhibit in honor of Elvis’ birthday. The exhibit is called The Making of ELVIS, and it showcases artifacts from the 2022 Elvis movie.

In further celebration of Elvis’ birthday, the Elvis movie returned to select theaters in the U.S. and Canada. These screenings of the film played for free, and featured an introduction from director Baz Luhrmann and actor Austin Butler.
Elvis’ birthday was also recognized by his ex-wife, Priscilla Presley. She shared a heartfelt post on social media about his birthday, making it clear how much she misses him.
Priscilla wrote:
“It’s Elvis’ 88th birthday today. It’s so hard to believe he is gone but he is always our hearts. Thank you all for keeping his memory alive.”
