Oprah Winfrey To Air Exclusive Interview With Elvis Presley’s Granddaughter Riley Keough

Oprah Winfrey is set to unveil an intimate interview with Riley Keough, the granddaughter of rock’n’ roll legend Elvis Presley.
This exclusive prime-time special, titled An Oprah Special: The Presleys — Elvis, Lisa Marie and Riley, promises to offer viewers an unprecedented glimpse into one of America’s most iconic families.
According to CBS News, viewers can expect to see never-before-released family photographs and home videos, offering a rare peek behind the curtain of fame. Additionally, Lisa Marie’s personal audio recordings will be featured, including memories of her larger-than-life father.
During the interview, Keough talks more about the unique experience of being a Presley.
For their conversation, Oprah Winfrey took a journey to the grounds of Graceland Mansion in Memphis, Tennessee. There, she sat down with Riley Keough for what marks the actress and director’s first in-depth interview since the passing of her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, in January 2023.
Keough opens up to Winfrey about the ups and downs of her famous family heritage and her deep connection with her late mother. She also discusses the challenges of upholding the Presley name in show business.
Keough also touches on her work for her mother’s memoir, From Here To The Great Unknown.
Before her untimely death, Lisa Marie Presley had been recording hours of personal stories for a memoir. In a touching tribute, Riley Keough took on the task of completing the literary work to honor her mother’s legacy.
Coinciding with the broadcast, From Here To The Great Unknown will hit bookshelves on October 8. The memoir promises to be a candid exploration of Lisa Marie’s life, covering her childhood at Graceland, the shock of her father’s death, her marriages, and her struggles with addiction.
