Miranda Lands Five Nominations

The nominees for the 2023 ACM Awards were announced on Thursday (April 13). There were some snubs and surprises…but what came as no surprise is the fact that Miranda Lambert was one of the most-nominated artists.

Lambert received five nominations this year. She was nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (twice, as the artist and producer), and Artist-Songwriter of the Year.

“I’m forever grateful for the support of the country music community,” Lambert said in a post on social media celebrating her nominations. “It’s gonna be a big ol party in the Lone Star State! See y’all there!

A Record Holder

Lambert is currently the record holder for the most wins at the ACM Awards. She’s won 37 trophies so far, including two last year.

In 2022, Lambert finally won the coveted Entertainer of the Year Award for the first time. In doing so, she became one of the ACM’s rare Triple Crown Award recipients.

The Triple Crown Award is bestowed upon artists who have won the awards for New Artist of the Year, Male or Female Artist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year over the course of their career.

Lambert was honored with her Triple Crown Award during the ACM Honors ceremony last year.

Reaching (And Surpassing) Reba’s Record

Beyond that, Lambert’s latest batch of nominations allowed her to set another record. This record was previously held by Reba McEntire.

Lambert has now been nominated for the Female Artist of the Year award 17 times. This surpasses the record McEntire held onto for years. McEntire has 16 nominations in the category.

If Lambert wins this year, it’ll be her first time winning the Female Artist of the Year Award since 2018. But that wasn’t her only win..she won it every year from 2010-2018.

Carly Pearce won Female Artist of the Year in 2022, and she is nominated again. Other than Pearce and Lambert, the nominees for Female Artist of the Year include Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley McBryde, and Lainey Wilson.

Congratulations to Lambert and to all of the other nominees at this year’s ACM Awards!
