Kenny Chesney Brings His Mama Onstage To Sing With Him & Kelsea Ballerini

Kenny Chesney was on his I Go Back Tour this year. His good friend, Kelsea Ballerini, joined him as the opening act on the tour.

The duo performed one night in Greenville, South Carolina. They welcomed a special guest onstage when they sang their CMA Award-winning collaboration, “half of my hometown.”

That special guest was Kenny’s mama, Karen Chandler!

This wasn’t the first time Kenny shared the stage with his mom. During his 2022 Here and Now Tour, he brought his mama onstage in Denver to sing “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright.” Over 60,000 people watched their duet.

Kenny also shared a video of his mama dancing with his team backstage before the 2022 Denver show. He said, “Mom joined us for the pre-show dance ritual on stage the other night. What a blast and what joy!”

So you can imagine how happy Kenny’s fans were when he brought his mama onstage again to sing “half of my hometown” with him and Ballerini in Greenville.

Kenny posted a photo on Instagram that shows him and Kelsea onstage with his mama. “A moment with mom last night in Greenville, South Carolina,” he wrote in the caption. “Mom came on stage last night to sing with me and Kelsea Ballerini. Such a special moment.”
