Kane Brown Delivers Bluesy Performance During “Christmas At Graceland”

NBC
Stars gathered at Elvis Presley’s home to celebrate the season with Christmas At Graceland. Â
The holiday season has officially arrived and if thereâs one thing we know about Elvis, itâs that he loved Christmas. He released a Christmas album in 1957 and it became his highest-selling album of the decade. It included classic holiday songs like âBlue Christmas,â âHere Comes Santa Claus,â and âSilent Night,â as well as some new tunes.Â
Years after his passing, Elvisâ Graceland Estate continues to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. Each year, they deck their halls in elaborate Christmas decorations and were even named the #1 âBest Holiday Historic Home Tourâ for four consecutive years.Â

This year, for the first time ever, NBC aired a live musical holiday special from the historic estate: Christmas at Graceland. The lineup of music guests included Alanis Morissette, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Lana Del Rey, Post Malone, and The War and Treaty.Â
The special was produced by Elvisâ granddaughter, Riley Keough, the only child of the late Lisa Marie Presley. Keough said in a statement:Â
âMy family and I are elated to open the doors to Graceland in this first-of-its-kind special. With intimate musical performances drawing inspiration from my grandfather Elvisâs cherished Christmases in Memphis, viewers will be invited to experience firsthand the magic that is Christmas at Graceland.â
Kane Brown turned Christmas “Blue” with his soulful performance.Â
During Christmas at Graceland, Kane Brown performed his rendition of Elvisâ iconic âBlue Christmas.âÂ
Kane appeared outdoors to sing the familiar holiday tune as video of Elvis was projected on a barn and his voice could be heard alongside Kane’s.
Kane Brown released a duet version of âBlue Christmasâ in early November with none other than Elvis himself. Using Elvisâ old vocal recordings, Brown and producers were able to reimagine the song and create a mix of modern sound with nostalgia. Brown reflected:Â Â
âJust to hear me and Elvis on the same song is crazy.â
