All-Star Jimmy Buffett Tribute Concert Announced For April 11 In Los Angeles
Music legend Jimmy Buffett is being honored next month with a star-studded tribute concert in Los Angeles.
The “Margaritaville” singer passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 76. He privately battled Merkel-cell carcinoma, a rare form of skin cancer, for four years.
As an artist with huge crossover appeal, Buffett’s death impacted singers from all genres. The country music community was especially devastated. Buffett was friends with many country stars such as Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Clint Black, Toby Keith, Jake Owen, and the members of the Zac Brown Band.
