Jimmy Buffett’s Posthumous Album Reaches #1 On Multiple Charts After Its Release

Jimmy Buffett was working on a new album before he died on September 1. That album, titled Equal Strain on All Parts, was released on November 3.

Equal Strain on All Parts contains 14 tracks, including several collaborations. The full track list is:

“Bubbles Up” is perhaps the most beloved song on the album. Fans latched onto the tune after Buffett’s death, as it contains an encouraging message to remember him by.

Some of the lyrics are:

“So, when the journey gets long, just know that you are loved. There is light up above, and the joy is always enough. Bubbles up.”

Equal Strain On All Parts Is The #1 Rock Album, The #1 Americana Album, And The #2 Country Album

Listeners responded well to Equal Strain on All Parts following its release. According to new chart data from Billboard, the album is within the Top 10 on multiple charts.

Buffett’s official social media pages shared the news that Equal Strain on All Parts is currently the #1 rock album and the #1 Americana album. It is also the #2 country album, the #2 independent album, the #3 digital album, and the #4 vinyl album.

Additionally, Equal Strain on All Parts secured the #6 spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.
