Hank Williams Jr. Shares First Photo From Intimate Wedding

Hank Williams Jr. married Brandi Fields on Saturday, September 9.
On Monday (Sept. 11), Hank Jr.’s team announced on his official Facebook page that the couple exchanged vows at Enon Baptist Church in Banks, Alabama, over the weekend. Their intimate celebration continued with a reception at Kendall Hall in Troy, Alabama, surrounded by a close-knit group of friends and family.
Although the couple had been posting pictures together over the past few months, details about the progression of their relationship remained ambiguous. However, in the wedding announcement, it was revealed that Hank, 74, and Brandi, 43, have been friends for 20 years. Their engagement took place on Mother’s Day earlier this year.
The wedding announcement came as a shock to some fans, especially since the Facebook page, The Pure Hank Radio Show, had just seemingly announced their engagement on September 4th.
Finding Love After Tragedy
The news of his marriage comes roughly 18 months after the passing of his third wife, Mary Jane Thomas. Thomas, who had been married to Hank for 32 years at the time of her death in March 2022, succumbed to complications arising from cosmetic surgery.
At the age of 58, Thomas was in Florida recovering from the procedure when she experienced a sudden decline in health. She was rushed to Jupiter Medical Center and was ultimately pronounced dead. The subsequent autopsy revealed that her passing was attributed to a collapsed lung sustained during the surgical procedure, and it was classified as an accident.
Hank and Mary Jane were parents to two children, Sam and Katherine. Tragically, Katherine lost her life in a car accident in 2020 at the age of 27. Hank Jr. also has other children, including Hank Williams III, born to the singer and his first wife, Gwen Yeargain, as well as Holly Williams and Hilary Williams, who were born to Hank and his second wife, Becky White.
