Hank Williams Jr. Marries In Intimate Church Ceremony

Hank Williams Jr. said “I do” to Brandi Fields Irvin on Saturday, September 9.
Hank Jr.’s team shared the news on his official Facebook page Monday with a post stating that the couple wed at Enon Baptist Church in Banks, Alabama, over the weekend. They celebrated with a small group of friends and family with a reception at Kendall Hall in Troy, Alabama.
The couple had been sharing photos together in recent months, but their relationship timeline was unclear. In the wedding announcement post it was shared that Hank, 74, and Brandi, 43, have known each other and been friends for 20 years. They got engaged on Mother’s Day earlier this year (May 14).
Hank and Brandi didn’t officially announce their engagement until a week prior to their wedding, although eagle-eyed fans spotted the bride-to-be with an engagement ring weeks ago.

The Pure Hank Radio Show shared a photo of the couple on September 4th with a caption that read, “The newly engaged outlaw country music and southern rock legend Hank Williams, Jr. alongside his beautiful and lovely fiancé Brandi.”
The news of Williams’ marriage comes roughly 18 months after the death of his third wife, Mary Jane Thomas.
Thomas, who had been married to Hank for 32 years at the time of her death, died in March 2022 due to complications following cosmetic surgery.
Thomas, 58, was in Florida recovering from an elective cosmetic surgery when she became unresponsive. She was taken to Jupiter Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. The autopsy revealed that she died of a collapsed lung sustained during the surgery and her death was ruled an accident.
Hank and Mary Jane shared two children, son Sam and daughter Katherine, who died in a car crash in 2020 at the age of 27. Hank Jr. is also the father of Hank Williams III who was born to the singer and his first wife, Gwen Yeargain, and Holly Williams and Hilary Williams who were born to Hank and his second wife, Becky White.
