George Strait shared some huge news on Monday (October 24). He announced his plans for a six-show stadium tour in 2023!
The tour will start on May 6, 2023 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Strait’s trek will continue through August, and will take him to these additional stadiums and cities.
- American Family Field – Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Lumen Field – Seattle, Washington

- Raymond James Stadium – Tampa, Florida
To make things even better, Strait is teaming up with two other artists on his tour. Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town will be joining him for all six shows!
“George Strait announced SIX stadium shows in 2023!” Strait’s team shared in a post on social media. “Heâs teaming up with @chrisstapleton to play only six markets in Summer 2023 and appearing with Strait and Stapleton is GRAMMY Award-Winning Band @littlebigtown! Strait retired from full-scale touring at the end of his The Cowboy Rides Away Tour in 2014. He has performed select shows since then, and maintains a residency at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Since there are only six shows on Strait’s upcoming stadium tour, fans are sure to travel from far and wide to watch “The King of Country” perform. Adding Stapleton and Little Big Town to the bill makes the shows all the more appealing!
Strait has collaborated with Stapleton many times. They recently performed together in Kansas City, and sang Strait’s “All My Ex’s Live in Texas.” Watch that performance below.
We can’t wait for Strait to kick off his stadium tour next year! Is he coming to a city near you?
