Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are putting everything on hold for the time being.

On Thursday (February 11), the country power couple posted identical statements on their respective social media pages. Someone on their team recently tested positive for COVID-19, which means Brooks and Yearwood were potentially exposed.

Because of this, and “out of an abundance of caution,” Brooks and Yearwood said they are “cancelling everything” for the next two weeks while they’re in quarantine.

Brooks and Yearwood will also be getting COVID tests to make sure they don’t test positive for the virus as well.

This marks the second time Brooks and Yearwood have been forced to put things on pause due to a team member’s exposure to COVID-19. Back in July 2020, the singers announced someone in their “camp” was potentially exposed to the virus.

Because of this, Brooks and Yearwood’s July 7th Facebook Live concert was postponed for a later date.

At least this time around, Brooks and Yearwood didn’t have any online concerts on the books for the next two weeks. However, this latest quarantine means there will be a two-week break from Brooks’ weekly Facebook live show Inside Studio G.

The last time Brooks hosted an Inside Studio G session was on Monday (February 8). It was just one day after Brooks’ 59th birthday, so Inside Studio G was all about that.

Check out the video from Brooks’ birthday edition of Inside Studio G below.

We’ll miss seeing him and Yearwood over the course of these next two weeks, but certainly understand why they’re being so cautious. We wish them well and hope they stay safe and healthy.
